Black Pinstripe

This seemingly unassuming short coat from Zucca actually belies an amazing level of detail in its patternmaking and construction. Slipping it on and wearing it around, you'll realize the armpits feature expandable pleated gussets and the sleeves are cut with flaring 'fins' that are stitched into the cuff construction as they snake down the arm. All of these featurescreate a garment that's both easy to move around in and one that changes dynamically with the wearer. Amazing subtlety is shown in the way the high-set pockets at the chest are cut with a tilt, showing the shifted grain of the pinstripe. The coat is fully lined in nylon for ease of layering andfeatures an ever-so-slightly padded fill for warmth whilemaintaining a sleek silhouette. All in all, this piece is inherently wearable yet never boring with its wealth of amazing patternmaking details.

Finished with button front and two lower waist drop pockets to complete the hunting coat silhouette.
